Stretching for Home-Care
This hands-on, 8-hour course introduces massage therapy students to the science and
application of stretching techniques for client home care. Participants will learn to perform and
instruct basic static upper- and lower-body stretches as well as best practices for duration,
frequency, and intensity. In addition to static stretching, more advanced techniques such as
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) will be taught and practiced. This course will
help therapists gain confidence in recommending appropriate and effective home-care routines
for their clients.
